Life size but diminutive garments float and ascend skyward, appearing both empty and full simultaneously.  Crushing and then uncrushing their skirts and bodices, attempting to smooth out the wrinkles left behind, the traces, like scars, function as metaphor, while the dresses themselves act as surrogates.  Memory, life experiences, fragility and strength are all embodied within them, symbolic of how our inner lives manifest themselves, over time, outwardly on our skin.
